Mills was born in Bucyrus, Ohio, The United States. Author Mills lives in her home located in sunny Houston, Texas, along with her loving husband. She always keeps in touch with the different groups and also teaches at a number of writing workshops all over the country. During the meetings and gatherings of the various writer associations, author Mills likes to speak on a wide range of topics. Author Mills serves as a member of the Association of the Advanced Writers and Speakers as well as the International Writers of Thriller. She was also the president of the Faith, Hope, and Love chapter of RWA in the year 2015. Other than being one of the prolific authors, Mills is among the board of the founding members of the Christian Fiction Writers of America. The Library Journal has presented author Mills with a ‘Best Books of Genre Fiction’ award in the year 2014′ in the category of the best Christian Fiction for her book titled ‘Firewall’. She has also won a couple of Christy Awards and has been the finalist for prestigious awards like Daphne Du Maurier, Carol Award, RITA, and the Choice of Inspirational Readers.
Many of the titles written by her have appeared on the ECPA and CBA bestseller lists. Author Mills has the habit of combining some unpredictable characters with unforgettable plots in order to develop suspense filled and action packed novels.
